Queen Mother from Harlem at the MLK Candlelit Vigil
Unity bannerOn January 15th, Martin Luther King Jr's actual birthday, Occupy Wallstreet organized a candlelit vigil from St. John Divine Cathedral to Riverside Church. When we arrived, we commenced a celebration of King's life featuring speeches, music, poetry and mic checks from the audience.
